𝑪𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒊, a project by ceramic artist Michiko Seki.
In Paris, she has been commissioned by renowned restaurants and Michelin-starred hotels to design custom ceramic creations each season. Her collection of functional art pieces, along with jewelry inspired by fragments of tableware, her vases, and objects, embody a design approach that transcends the boundaries between craftsmanship and fashion, giving rise to unique works of art. Since 2022, she has introduced a new line of flower vases named 'Saï (サイ)' to expand her scope.
Originally from Tokyo, Michiko Seki journeyed to France during a hiatus in her university studies, where she earned a degree in Ceramic Arts and Techniques from the École d'Arts et Techniques Céramiques in Paris. Subsequently, she founded "Ceramichi," embarked on an independent path, and created bespoke pieces for restaurants and hotels. Starting in 2020, she shifted her operations to Tokyo, where she continues to create art pieces and collaborate with fashion brands, curating exhibitions of artistic installations. Her boundless creative approach aims to transform the everyday into art.
